Python: if X < 0: X = 0 Print('Negative changed to zero') elif X == 0: Print('Zero') else: Print('More') Pseudocode: An ALGORITHM is a step by step code to solve a problem Flowcharts are used to show problems in a simpler way Diamond= Decision Parallelogram= Input Rectangle= Process Pill=Terminator Arrow= Connector/ assignment Case statement/ switch= An If statement for a variable Capitals for structures: eg. IF, THEN, INPUT, etc. FOR= Iterates as many times as you input REPEAT... UNTIL= This will execute at least once WHILE... DO... ENDWHILE= This may never execute and will execute only if the conditions are met Iteration is a loop
